I don’t know why, but the phrase “Gabourey shade” is probably among the funniest I have ever encountered. And I do see what you’re saying. And really, as much as I love Sandy, a win for that performance is like WUT. Looking back, it was a STRANGE year. The Academy will rue the day they didn’t give (out of those choices) Carey the Oscar.
