After three days of desk shifts with Ethan Young: Weird Non-Sequitur King, I've complied a short list of the winners.
1. EY: “Sometimes I wish I had a body double. So the body double could just like, sit here or at work and I could go to Disney World.2. EY: “Sometimes I have a craving for raw pasta. Like, I just want to open a box of mac & cheese and chomp away.”
3. EY: “I’m glad I don’t live near the Commons anymore because I get annoyed when people are like ‘Let’s go sit on the Commons!’”
Me: “Are you saying you get annoyed when people ask you to go sit in a park with them?”
EY: “Yeah, it’s just like- I don’t want to do that.”
Note: All of these were brought up without any provocation. Also, the last one was technically in the DH right after work, but who’s splitting hairs?
Sometimes my thoughts just need to be in the world and not in my head.
